I have never stopped asking myself: what makes a work of art resonate? The answer lies in chromatic vibrations—those subtle emotional waves I seek to awaken in each piece, by playing with the power of colour and the interplay of light.
First Studio Secret: The Chromatic Combination
In my work, every colour is chosen with care, much like composing a sophisticated dinner. Each shade is a special guest, selected for its ability to interact with others, creating rich visual dialogues full of emotion. The lacquer I use acts as a conductor, controlling the interactions while preserving the transparency and purity of the colours.
This chromatic interplay, orchestrated with precision, allows me to create atmospheres that oscillate between serenity and subtle tension. The absence of recognisable forms in my work offers the viewer the freedom to project their own emotions and establish an intimate connection with the piece.

Mes chères audacieuses,
Je n’ai jamais cessé de me demander : qu’est-ce qui fait vibrer une oeuvre d’art ? La réponse se trouve dans les vibrations chromatiques. Ces petites ondes émotionnelles que je cherche à éveiller dans chaque oeuvre, en jouant sur la puissance des couleurs et des interactions lumineuses.
Premier secret d’atelier : La combinaison chromatique
Dans mon travail, chaque couleur est sélectionnée avec soin, comme on compose un dîner sophistiqué. Chaque teinte est une invitée spéciale, choisie pour sa capacité à interagir avec les autres, créant ainsi des dialogues visuels riches en émotions. La laque que j’utilise agit comme un chef d’orchestre, contrôlant les interactions tout en gardant la transparence et la pureté des couleurs.
Ce jeu chromatique, orchestré avec précision, permet de créer des ambiances qui oscillent entre sérénité et tension subtile. L’absence de formes reconnaissables dans mes oeuvres offre au spectateur la liberté de projeter ses propres émotions et d’établir un lien intime avec l’oeuvre.
