It was time for me to explore volumetric pieces. Always seeking to see light reflected in the colours and textures of lacquer, I designed a three-dimensional geometric sculpture that I wrapped in a transparent cube. Thus, light can pass through the entire work, from left to right, bottom to top, reflecting on the corners of the structure. This effect creates a dynamic and immersive visual experience, where light interacts with shapes and materials to produce changing and captivating reflections.
It is then possible to move around and see and let yourself be invited to question your perception of reality. This contemporary sculpture is an exploration of the duality between reality and illusion. Through the contrast between the transparent cube and the lacquered metal, I seek to capture the fascinating play of light and material. As you move around this piece, you will see the colours and textures come to life.
